DR. Julie Ladel

Dr. Julie Ladel (Handling IWRM in India and Abroad as Team Leader with EU-SPP ) is a Ph.D. in Applied Hydrology from University of Paris V, France (1992-1996) and Master in Water Sciences and Planning, orientation. She is a member in bodies like Member of Gender for Results Thematic Group of the African Community of Practice on Managing for Development Results (AfCoP), Member of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS) and has received an award from International River Foundation/River Water User Association of India (Nov. 2019). She has relevant experience in International development cooperation, in water or water-related institutions such as international river basin organizations (RBOs) and intergovernmental organizations (African Union, Regional Economic Communities, ASEM, etc.) Implementation of SDG6 (access to water and sanitation; Integrated/Trans boundary water resources management (IWRM/TWRM) Strategic programmes of UNESCO, the European Union and African Union and African Development Bank. She is an in-house expert of NIDS-SATYA and guides the team towards successful completion of the project.
